The Spiritual Life Commission is responsible for helping the pastor and parish council provide the parish and parishioners with individual and communal opportunities for spiritual growth. Our responsibilities include:

Enabling, promoting and supporting the parish's continued growth as a faith community

To be a resource to all present programs and organizations that are deepening the spirituality of the parish community

General oversight and evaluating the liturgical life of the parish community

Specifying the liturgical needs of the parish and making appropriate recommendations to the parish council

Participating in planning and preparing parish liturgies

Promoting fidelity to church norms and implementing archdiocesan policies with respect to sacramental rites

Encouraging prayer and reflection groups in the parish

Working in conjunction with Faith Formation Commission to provide opportunities for the spiritual growth of parish groups such as the pastoral council and other committees and organizations

Working in conjunction with the Faith Formation Commission in coordinating parish retreats, renewal programs, evangelization progams, ecumenical activities and vocation-awareness programs within the parish
